We checked 14 Harrow shops and 3 Christmas markets, from Mouse & Grape in Pinner to Waterstones, for opening hours and addresses. Updated November 2026.

Harrow has 17 places worth a Christmas shopping trip in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with opening hours, addresses and what each one sells. Mouse & Grape, Waterstones, M&S and the Headstone Manor market are the names most people land on. We checked each entry on 5 November 2026 against its own site, and say where we could not.

We have not shopped at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Most of Harrow town centre is national chains, so we say which entries are chains. Shops often change their hours close to Christmas, so check before a special trip.

Dates for the Christmas shopping diary

Saturday 21 November: Kenton market. The Countdown to Christmas Market runs from 11am to 4pm at St Mary the Virgin church hall.

Saturday 28 November: Harrow town centre. The Christmas Party has stalls from 12pm to 7pm, and the town centre lights go on at 5pm.

Sunday 13 December: Headstone Manor. The artisan market runs from 10am to 3pm in and around the Great Barn.

We found no late night shopping event for 2026. The two shopping centres had not published one when we checked, and the town centre BID’s Christmas 2026 page showed nothing we could read. We also found no Christmas opening hours from either centre yet.

Harrow town centre

1. Waterstones, St Ann’s Road

This is a national chain, and the main bookshop in the town centre. Its own page shows hours about ten days ahead, and on 5 November that ran only to 14 November, so check again in December.

The BID also lists Pandora here. These are mostly chains.

The car park charges £2.70 for up to two hours and £1 for an evening stay between 6pm and midnight, card or phone only.

The BID lists this branch in the town centre. For donations, furniture goes to the Kenton shop at 192 Kenton Road and electrical items to the Harrow Weald shop at 437 High Road.

The only shop detail we found is a 2016 Pinner Association notice about people buying Christmas presents and cards there. Phone before you go to check the shop’s stock, its Christmas hours and whether you need a museum ticket to use it.

16. Harrow Town Centre Christmas Party

The Harrow BID is the organiser, and its event page promises entertainment and a fun fair. An earlier BID post said stalls would trade from 12pm to 7pm.

The BID had not published a trader list or a stage location when we checked. Our Christmas lights page has what is known about the day, and last year’s party was on Station Road.

What is not on this list

We could not confirm enough shops in Stanmore, Hatch End or on Harrow on the Hill to include any. Billings & Edmonds on the Hill is a school outfitter, so we left it out as a gift shop. We also could not confirm a current independent toy shop or general bookshop anywhere in the borough.

Older directories still list several shops that we have left out:

  • De’paul Jewellery, 16 High Street, Pinner. Companies House shows the company dissolved on 19 August 2025.
  • Phil Greeno Models, Village Way, Rayners Lane. Companies House shows the company dissolved on 10 November 2020.
  • BrOOKs bookshop, Bridge Street, Pinner. It announced in March 2021 that it would not reopen.
  • Beer Asylum, Bridge Street, Pinner. CAMRA lists it as closed long term.

We also left out three shops we could not check. Toy Galaxy on Station Road has no website we could find. The Village Gallery at 37 High Street, Pinner, appears under a different name at the same address in map data. Hatch End Card & Gifts appears only in a directory page we could not open. We are not saying any of these three has closed.

Getting there and posting presents

Our parking page has all the council car parks, the free hour and which Pinner and Hatch End car parks stop charging. Our Christmas travel page has train and Tube changes over the holiday.

If you plan to post presents from the town centre, note that the Post Office inside TG Jones at St Anns is due to close, though no date had been given when we reported it.

How we chose

We started from the Harrow Town Centre BID’s retailer directory and the store lists of the two shopping centres. We added shops from public map data for Pinner, Hatch End, Stanmore, North Harrow and Harrow on the Hill. We kept places that sell things people give as presents and whose own site, or the BID’s listing, we could read on 5 November 2026. We looked for closure notices and checked Companies House where a shop’s own site would not load. Chains appear because they are much of what the town centre has, and each is named as one.

Frequently asked questions

Is there late night Christmas shopping in Harrow in 2026?

We found no late night shopping event published for 2026. St George’s Shopping Centre lists late opening to 7.30pm on Thursdays as its regular hours. The Works in St Anns Road opens to 7pm from Monday to Friday. The nearest thing to a shopping event is the Harrow Town Centre Christmas Party on Saturday 28 November, with stalls from 12pm to 7pm.

Where can I find independent shops for Christmas presents in Harrow?

Mouse & Grape at 120 Marsh Road, Pinner, sells cheese, wine, hampers and gifts. Van Arthur at 67-69 Station Road, North Harrow, is a florist, and Angel Cake Baker at 8 College Road takes cake orders for collection. The three Christmas markets are the other main source of independent makers: Kenton on 21 November, the town centre on 28 November and Headstone Manor on 13 December.

Are Harrow shops open on Sundays before Christmas?

Many are. St George’s shops, The Works, Waterstones and M&S list 11am to 5pm on Sundays. Both Sue Ryder shops list 10am to 4pm, and Mouse & Grape lists 12pm to 6pm. Hours often change close to Christmas, so check before a special trip.
