We checked 5 places selling real Christmas trees near Harrow, from Squire's at Stanmore to a North Harrow doorstep service, for prices. Updated November 2026.

There are five places to buy a real Christmas tree in and around Harrow in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices where they are published, dates and what each one sells. Most people land on Squire’s Garden Centre at Stanmore, the only garden centre in the borough we found selling real trees; Christmas Delivery, the doorstep service run by Van Arthur florist in North Harrow; and Carpenders Park Garden Centre, just over the border from Hatch End, which already has its 2026 prices online. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.

We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. Stock and dates change as the season goes on, so check the website or ring before a special trip.

In the borough

1. Squire’s Garden Centre, Stanmore

Squire’s, a group of garden centres marking its 90th anniversary this year, runs this centre on the A409 Common Road beside Stanmore Common, and it is the only garden centre in Harrow we found selling real trees. The group says its real trees are “freshly cut or pot grown” and sold in store and online.

Its online range on 5 November was pot-grown: Nordmann firs at £52 for 80 to 100cm, £62 for 100 to 125cm and £75 for 125 to 150cm, and small potted spruces from £9.99. Cut trees are priced in store.

It says well-behaved dogs are welcome, except in the indoor cafe, and that the centre is not in the ULEZ.

Squire’s delivers within about five to seven miles of the centre, from £10 with a £25 minimum spend; its real Christmas trees page checks your postcode.

2. Christmas Delivery by Van Arthur, North Harrow

Christmas Delivery is the seasonal tree service of Van Arthur, the florist at 67 Station Road, North Harrow. You pick a size and a delivery slot online, and the van brings a selection of Nordmann firs so you choose your tree at the door.

It says delivery starts at the end of November 2026, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 10am to 6pm or 4pm to 8pm, and covers every HA postcode plus NW9, UB5, UB6 and parts of Watford. It warns that some sizes may be short, so there may not always be a choice at the doorstep.

Its delivery page lists the postcodes and slots. The January collection date on the site still read 7 January 2026 when we checked, so confirm the 2027 date when you book.

Just over the borders

3. Carpenders Park Garden Centre, near Hatch End

A garden centre on Little Oxhey Lane, about a mile from Hatch End and the first stop over the Hertfordshire border. It is taking pre-orders for cut trees from Lovania Nurseries, with every price online: Nordmann fir, which it calls “the best needle drop resistant cut tree”, from £34.99 for 90 to 120cm up to £219.99 for 300 to 350cm, plus Norway spruce and Fraser fir.

The online orders are for delivery, and its delivery area takes in every HA postcode, with charges set by postcode zone.

The centre’s site gives two sets of weekday closing times, 5pm and 5.30pm, so ring if you are going late in the day.

4. Hillier Garden Centre, Ruislip

Hillier’s centre on Ducks Hill Road is about three miles west of Pinner. Hillier says its centres sell UK-grown cut and pot-grown trees, and its latest real tree page, still written for the 2025 season, lists Nordmann fir from 4ft to 10ft, a slim Nordmann for smaller rooms and Fraser fir, with £10 off cut trees over 6ft for members of its free Gardening Club.

It has not published a 2026 arrival date or prices. Parking is free for customers, for up to 90 minutes, and the centre says it is dog friendly.

Delivered to your door

5. Creekside Christmas (delivery only)

Creekside Christmas is an online business only, so there is no pitch to visit. It has a page for Harrow and says delivery is free inside the M25, with a choice of all-day, office-hours or evening slots and an estimated time window the night before.

It sells Nordmann, Fraser and Noble firs, and you can pay extra to have the tree carried in and set up, or set up with lights fitted, as well as for a January collection.

Not in the guide this year

The Plantation Garden Centre on Kenton Road calls itself London’s largest garden centre, but its website does not mention Christmas trees, so ring it before going for one. We found no scout, school or charity tree sale announced in the borough for 2026; if you run one, tell us and we will add it. The nearest Pines and Needles pitches are in Finchley and Kensal Green, too far to count as near Harrow. We left out supermarkets, DIY stores and national firms that send trees by courier.

Getting rid of the tree in January

The Harrow recycling centre on Forward Drive, Wealdstone, takes real Christmas trees, by booked slot, and is open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Garden waste collections pause over Christmas; the dates and booking rules are on our Christmas bin collections page.
